Dee has been teaching golf for nearly 20 years in Minnesota. She teaches both private lessons and group classes for golfers of all playing abilities. Not only does she provide prescriptive advice to help you improve, but also utilizes training aids, video analysis and individual practice strategies to allow you to get quick and long lasting results.
In addition to teaching golf, Dee and collegue Gerald McCullagh write weekly blogs for Twin Cities Business Magazine in the Living Well Section. Tee Up! features articles on the local golf scene, golf travel and tales from the links.
Dee Forsberg possesses a B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota in Secondary Education and is a member of the PGA of America. She established her career as golf professional in 1987 when she left a successful amateur career to compete professionally on both the Women’s Future Tour and The Women’s European Golf Tour. From there, she joined the PGA of America and has since developed an effective teaching style that combines her enthusiasm for learning with her passion for playing.
The cornerstone of her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that a sound golf swing originates from pre-swing fundamentals and target awareness. She prides herself in working with each student to develop their fundamental skills and to prepare a curriculum around their individual strengths. In particular, she is noted for her work with the short game and developing successful practice routines.
