LSOTM: Snowprofessor.com – How-To Snowboard Videos
Posted on April 7th, 2009 2 commentsToday we visit Snow Professor
http://www.snowprofessor.com/
Snow Professor is a sister/brother combo that provides videos that will teach you how to snowboard. From the beginners basics to more complex tricks and methods for advanced riders. Along with the videos are great scripts that will not only make you a better snowboarder, but may cause you to laugh a couple times.
They offer all of their videos free of charge. Also on the site are equipment reviews and links to websites where you can get all of your gear for cheap.
Jill and Rick are both certified instructors with plenty of credentials.
- Rick’s Certification: AASI Level III, Freestyle Accreditation, Children’s Accreditation, appointed to the Central Division Ed Staff, elected to the Central Division Board of Directors
- Jill’s Certification: AASI Level II

We love it!Content is very fresh. They are adding new videos almost weekly. Videos are high quality so you can view the details over and over if you haven’t quite gotten the moves/steps down yet.
Since the videos are online, it does allow you to improve without the use of an instructor and taking lessons in person. But perhaps improvements from watching their videos will inspire snowboarders to get out and take more snowboarding lessons to get even better.
So stop reading this review and start watching their vids already!!!

The Haney Project: Charles Barkley
Posted on March 22nd, 2009 No commentsI’ve been watching a bit of the Haney Project on the Golf Channel and am pretty impressed with the progress that Charles Barkley is making on his swing.
They showed some old clips from 1994 of his swing and he had great action. But his friend said he thought it was the tv cameras that have made him nervous and allowed his swing to get tentative and decompose.
One of the great things about lessons is that with proper instruction, anything is possible. And not only in golf lessons, but in educational tutoring, tennis lessons, snowboarding lessons, music lessons and all other types.
The other great thing about lessons is that for me, as soon as I experienced even a little bit of improvement, my appetite for getting better grew and grew. Excitement builds about getting better, smarter and more talented.
