Google Checkout fees are updated…

Starting May 5th 2009, Google will implement a tiered structure to their fees for using Google Checkout. 

How does this affect you?  If you do more than $100,000 a month in Google Checkout sales, you actually win a little bit as long as they are larger transactions.  % drops from 2% to 1.9% but transaction fee is now $0.30 instead of $0.20

Have no fear if you are a new user.  We are offering a free 180-day trial for our instructors to have unlimited access to our booking features.

Book a Lesson in its 3rd year…

We find ourselves in our 3rd year of booking lessons and we face an economy like we’ve never seen in our lifetimes.  As we continue down the road providing lesson booking and marketing service, we are revisiting our pricing model.  

Money is tighter than ever and we want to stabalize pricing so that we don’t go bankrupt and you don’t go bankrupt.

Approaching 1,000 lessons booked

We are within 10 lessons of 1,000 booked, this is exciting for us!

The Golf Institute has posted 26 classes!

The Golf Institute at The University of Minnesota has posted 26 classes for their beginning half of the summer season.  They have offered a few new classes for short-game  and some women’s only classes.

Coming soon… Videos!!!

Coming in the next few weeks will be a way for you as an instructor to upload video’s to share with your students and potential students.

Its been pretty quiet on the blog this summer, we’ve been spending some time streamlining our processes and code for a better experience for students and instructors.

We hit over 300 students and more than 600 lessons booked through our booking engine this summer, we’re pretty excited about those starting numbers.

June 19th update

As of this morning our current student count is at 196 and booked lesson count is at 428.

May 18th status

As of 5/18/2007 at 4:00PM we have had 125 students signed up and we’re getting new users everyday!

Also we have booked 310 lessons!!

Again, we’re very excited to see these kind of stats and are encouraged to continue to improve on our features to bring a better experience to the students and instructors we work with!

status update

As of 4/23/2007 at 11:00PM we have had 66 students signed up and have booked 176 lessons in just over 3 weeks of being up and running. We’re very excited to see these kind of stats and are encouraged to continue to improve on our features to bring a better experience to the students and instructors we work with!
