Revisiting iplaymathgames.com
We reviewed iplaymathgames.com back in March this year. They have made some great updates to their site and have now converted most of the content to free content.
from their homepage
WHY ARE THE ONLINE MATH GAMES FREE?
- Because, let's face it, that's what people want. Don't you get frustrated when you search for a game on fractions, the Google search takes you there and you find out that you have to pay for it, buy something else or sift through a bunch of surveys and advertising before you get this "free" math game or activity?
- Market data suggests that there are 1,500,000 teachers in the U.S. associated with math and that these teachers spend an average of $50 per year on games like IPlayMathGames.com offers. Add home school parents to that number and it more than doubles. So making these games free is IPlayMathGames.com's own little economic stimulus program that doesn't cost the American taxpayer one cent!
They still offer hard-copy versions of their content through their website and Amazon.com store.

We love it!
Content is very fresh. They are adding new videos almost weekly. Videos are high quality so you can view the details over and over if you haven't quite gotten the moves/steps down yet.
Since the videos are online, it does allow you to improve without the use of an instructor and taking lessons in person. But perhaps improvements from watching their videos will inspire snowboarders to get out and take more snowboarding lessons to get even better.
So stop reading this review and start watching their vids already!!!

Google Checkout fees are updated…
Starting May 5th 2009, Google will implement a tiered structure to their fees for using Google Checkout.
How does this affect you? If you do more than $100,000 a month in Google Checkout sales, you actually win a little bit as long as they are larger transactions. % drops from 2% to 1.9% but transaction fee is now $0.30 instead of $0.20

Our take is that if you are a tutor, teacher or a parent, this is the place for you! Math can be hard to explain and using games as a method of teaching meets kids where they are at. iplaymathgames.com will help the student get ahead in class, test preperation! Math can make many students nervous or scared of the subject, these products can help change that mindset and show students that math can be doable & fun!

why should you take lessons?
Because we cant fix ourselves. Most of you probably have heard of Tiger Woods. if you haven't, I am surprised you found the Internet. But he's the best golfer in the world and he takes lessons.
That means all of us who aren't as good as Tiger should take lessons if we want to improve on what we do.
http://www.golfdigest.com/magazine/myshot_gd0505
Its something that the majority of people struggle with, accepting help, or admitting they cannot figure it out alone. But once you get over that hump and realize lessons are a great thing, improvement is just a short time away!
In golf particularly, you can spend a lot of money in greens fees to play, but not playing well can be frustrating and make those hundreds of dollars spent feel like a waste. Spending some money on lessons and practice can dramatically increase the pleasure of the on-course experience.
Whatever the category of sports/music/education you wish to improve, remember that lessons are a good thing and you wont be the only one taking them!
